Blur the graphics around an object in motion. Naturally darken the edges of the screen. Use low-detail models on distant objects. Disable rendering of objects when not visible. but when the white line flickers it gets annoying. Enable HDR rendering and improve overall graphic quality. flickering/flashing graphics HELP i just started FFXIV and i been getting these annoying little white flickering playing at full screen 1080p, i have a i7 4790k cpu and msi R9 390 8gb. Hopefully, Square Enix can add more features to the barebones Final Fantasy VII. Easily capable of running the game on the highest settings. However, removing TAA will also introduce aliasing and flickering to the image as seen in the screenshot below. My temps never go above 50 degrees Celsius (and that's an outlier, usually it remains around 30-45). I also tried at the lowest graphic settings, but the same issues remained.Īnyway, I reinstalled Nvidia's drivers and Direct X 9, and it didn't help. (Limb Darkening) : Enabled-Blur the graphics around an object in motion. This either happened as a result of port forwarding (I tried to fix lag and latency) or it was a coincidence (more likely since it didn't fix itself after I removed the port forwarding). Sometimes they would appear to go through walls and objects. There is a constant flickering or intermittent black screen. Unfortunately, this texture flickering is immersion-breaking and already has people putting down the game. Some have turned their overall graphics all the way to low and then back to ultra, which some claim will fix the texture flickering in The Medium. Perhaps the most noticeable bug was that slices/slivers of, I guess, textures that would appear and hover in midair for a second or two, yet neither Fraps nor the regular screenshots showed them when I tried to take a snap. In Ul'dah, the road textures did as well, and brightness flickered as well (as in, I would stand on the road and a bit further ahead, in an alcove/opening, the light would flicker) I also noticed it happening with shadows (though they seemed to be striping as well). So, my game ran beautifully (except log in issues) until today, when first I noticed that the ground, grass and trees were shimmering (a sort of half-flicker effect if you will) just a bit in front of my character.
